Our primary objective is to assist you in navigating this process, ensuring that you receive all the benefits you are entitled to as a veteran in the state of Texas. Care Packages for Deployed Soldiers

This service is strictly for deployed soldiers. The care packages will be packed by a volunteer group and will be shipped to soldiers or units who are deployed overseas. Soldiers will also have the option to request specific things in the care packages when they reach out to one of our social media pages. Care packages will be packed with items that are deemed a necessity and include snacks, undergarments, and hygiene products. There will not be any attempt to pack care packages with allergies in mind unless the Soldier specifies otherwise. Funding for care packages will come from donor and volunteer funding until the company drums enough revenue to have a set-aside allotment for future packaging parties.

Employment Service:

This service will offer job opportunities within the company for veterans who have recently separated from the service and are in need of a job. The employment service will also be open to all other classifications of veterans who hold the appropriate credentials for open positions within the company. Open positions for the near future may consist of assistants to the founders, marketing representatives, event planners, and associate secretaries to handle company books, without the option of having access to company funding.
Veterans Beach Bash:

The annual veteran's beach bash will consist of one weekend each year held at one of the beaches located in Texas. This event will serve as a veterans community gathering to promote the company, and veterans resources and use the majority of yearly funding towards maintaining a safe and positive environment. Founders of Texas 28th plan to make connections with local business owners in the town selected to host the beach bash and obtain permission from the county and precinct in order to host a safe and professional gathering.

Disconnect Nature Connection:

The plan for this service is to allow time for veterans of all ages to gather with their friends and family, bring their tents and campers, and relax in a privately owned outdoor space with activities hosted on future dates by employees of the Texas 28th Group. This service is not intended to be a festival or a party but almost as a place like a national or state park where veterans can make weekend reservations to stay on private property and enjoy outdoor activities with other veterans and their families.
Temporary Transitional Housing:

The purpose of this service is to be a temporary placement for veterans in need of housing. Temporary standards mean 6 months or less, under special circumstances there may be a longer stay time allowed. Each veteran who is housed in temp housing must be working or provide proof of attempting to get a job. Under consideration of bills and other monetary struggles at the moment Texas 28th founders are in agreement that this housing program will remain free to veterans and funded by state donations and other donors. We, the company, are aware of the money it will take to fund this program and will not activate this service until we have gathered the proper funds and sought financial advice from a professional.

Veterans Trade Program:

The purpose of this service is to certify the founders to teach their skills and potentially hire hands to help train and teach veterans a marketable skill or trade. Texas 28th Group will accept G.I. Bill and other funding for veterans from the state and military to help fund this service and allow for possible payment of hired hands. For veterans interested in using these services who have not recently separated we will allow reduced payment for the training and other sources of funding.
